Betsy Matazel began her career at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in the summer of 2019. Ms. Matazel is the Executive Secretary for the Department of Translational Neuroscience supporting the Chair and the department in various administrative needs such as travel coordination, expense reimbursement, faculty/staff meeting agenda management, website updates, and event/speaker coordination. Ms. Matazel earned her BSW with an emphasis in geriatrics from Cornerstone University. Ms. Matazel has over 15 years of experience serving C-level executives in a variety of occupational fields. When she isn’t at work, Ms. Matazel enjoys playing the flute, kayaking, growing dahlias, doing crossword puzzles, and is always up for a new adventure.
